The week of Trinity culture is celebrated in the month of January to mark the founding of the city where they meet many local artists and the country to celebrate the event.

The day of culture, which was held for years in November, is presently in the second week of January, in commemoration of the founding of the city.

It has become the festivities begin, as far as possible, with the opening of a cultural institution or conclusion of a work plan that contributes to the conservation and restoration of the Historic Center.

During the Day of Culture gives the community know the outcome of the work in the cultural field for an entire year, not only in the rescue of its rich traditions, but in all aspects of artistic and intellectual activity.

The House of Culture, the Library Gustavo Izquierdo, Casa de la Trova and museums, become the scene of concerts, recitals, exhibitions, conferences and scientific meetings and literature.

In all these acts to the people, raised platforms for the purpose, soloists and artistic groups in Trinidad and the rest of the country to turn the city into a great show of local culture.
